Community Guidelines

1. Contribute like a researcher

• Separate evidence, interpretation and opinion.
• Link to authoritative sources where practical.
• Disclose material conflicts of interest when relevant.
• Correct mistakes openly and promptly.
• Critique methods and claims without attacking people.
• Respect confidentiality, consent, embargoes and research-participant dignity.

2. Prohibited content and behaviour

Harassment and exploitation

No threats, targeted abuse, hate content, sexual harassment, bullying, exploitation or content that endangers children or vulnerable people.

Impersonation and false credentials

Do not impersonate researchers, clinicians, institutions, journals, funders or public bodies. Do not fabricate affiliations, verification evidence, awards, publications or professional credentials.

Spam, fraud and manipulation

No scams, repetitive promotion, phishing, malicious links, engagement manipulation, fraudulent funding notices or undisclosed coordinated activity.

Dangerous misinformation

Do not present unsupported or fabricated claims as established evidence, including content likely to cause serious health or safety harm. Debate and preliminary findings are welcome when limitations and uncertainty are represented honestly.

Privacy and confidential material

Never post patient-identifiable data, private peer-review material, confidential manuscripts, access credentials, personal contact details without permission or unlawfully obtained information.

Sexual, violent, illegal and infringing content

No sexually explicit material, graphic violence without legitimate and carefully framed research context, unlawful goods or services, malware, or copyright/trademark infringement.

3. Images and links

Upload only images you created or are authorised to share. Remove identifying patient information and sensitive metadata. Links must accurately describe their destination and must not lead to phishing, malware, unlawful content or deceptive redirects.

4. Verification labels

A verification label reflects the specific checks performed by Global Research Nexus; it is not a guarantee of every claim, qualification, publication or future conduct. Do not describe yourself or others as verified beyond what the displayed status supports.

5. Reporting content and users

Use the post actions to report a post or user. Select the closest reason and add concise factual details. Reports are private safety records. Do not submit knowingly false or retaliatory reports.

For urgent safety matters that cannot be reported in-app, email privacy@researchnexus.in with the subject “Safety Report”. This channel is not an emergency service.

6. Blocking

Blocking prevents the blocked relationship from appearing in your feed and excludes future follower fan-out between the two profiles. Block relationships are private. Circumventing a block through another account may result in restriction.

7. Moderation and enforcement

Depending on severity, context and history, we may warn a user, reduce distribution, remove content, disable posting, suspend an account, permanently remove an account or preserve/report evidence where required by law. Serious threats, exploitation, fraud or repeated evasion may lead to immediate action.

Anonymised moderation and security records may be kept for up to 90 days after account deletion to prevent abuse and document enforcement, then deleted.

8. Appeals

To appeal a moderation decision, email privacy@researchnexus.in from your account email. Include the affected post or action, why you believe the decision was incorrect and relevant context. Do not include confidential patient or research data.
