Overview
Block Frenzy is a mobile block puzzle game from FluffyLlama.Games. This policy explains what data the game handles when you play, save progress to the cloud, view ads, make purchases, or use platform leaderboards and achievements.
You can play the whole game without creating an account. Signing in is optional and exists so your progress can follow you to another device.
What We Collect
On your device
- Game progress: scores, level, XP, unlocked themes, streaks, daily challenge state, and your settings.
- This is stored in an encrypted local database. The encryption key is held in the iOS Keychain or Android Keystore and never leaves your device.
If you sign in
- An account identifier from Firebase Authentication. By default this is an anonymous identifier that is not tied to your name or email.
- If you choose to link an account, we receive an identifier from Sign in with Apple on iOS or Google Play Games on Android. Sign in with Apple lets you hide your email address, and we do not need your real address for the game to work.
- A copy of your game progress, stored in Cloud Firestore so it can be restored on another device.
- A notification token, if you allow notifications, so we can send you a message.
Automatically
- Privacy-safe analytics events such as when a game starts and ends, your score, and which features you use.
- Device type, operating system version, app version, and language.
- Purchase and entitlement status, so the game knows whether ads are removed or Pro is active.
- An advertising identifier, only where you have permitted it. See "Advertising" below.
What We Do Not Collect
Block Frenzy does not request or access your camera, photo library, microphone, contacts, calendar, precise location, health data, or the contents of your messages. It contains no social feed and no user-to-user messaging.
How We Use Data
- To save your progress on the device and, if you opt in, sync it across your devices.
- To validate purchases, restore entitlements, and keep ads off for players who have paid to remove them.
- To run daily challenges, streaks, leaderboards, and achievements.
- To find crashes, fix bugs, and understand which parts of the game people enjoy.
- To protect fair play. The game checks whether a device is rooted, jailbroken, or an emulator, and does not submit scores from those devices.
Advertising
Block Frenzy shows full-screen ads between games and optional rewarded ads you choose to watch. Ads are supplied by Google AdMob.
- In the UK, EEA, and Switzerland you are shown a consent form before any personalised advertising, and you can decline.
- On iOS you are asked separately, through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt, whether the app may use the advertising identifier. If you say no, the identifier is not used and you will see non-personalised ads instead.
- Buying Remove Ads or Pro stops the full-screen ads entirely. Rewarded ads stay available because you choose when to watch them.
Third-Party Services
These services process data on our behalf or under their own policies:
- Firebase (Google) - authentication, cloud save, analytics, remote configuration, and push notifications.
- Google AdMob and the Google User Messaging Platform - advertising and consent.
- RevenueCat - purchase validation and subscription status.
- Apple Game Center and Google Play Games Services - leaderboards and achievements. Your display name on a leaderboard comes from that service, not from us.
- Apple App Store and Google Play - purchases and billing. We never see your payment card details.
- Hint service - if you ask for a hint, the current board layout is sent to our server to compute a suggested move. Board layouts are not linked to an advertising profile.
Children
Block Frenzy is a general audience puzzle game. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Retention
Local data stays on your device until you delete it or uninstall the game. Cloud save data is kept while your account exists and is removed when you delete your account. Analytics data is retained on Firebase's standard schedule. Purchase records are kept as long as tax and accounting law requires.
Your Choices and Rights
- Play offline. Cloud save is optional and off until you sign in.
- Decline or withdraw advertising consent, as described above.
- Turn notifications off in your device settings at any time.
- Delete your account and data from inside the game: Settings › Delete Account & Data.
Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to access, correct, or export your data, to object to or restrict processing, and to complain to a data protection authority. In the UK that is the Information Commissioner's Office.
Changes
We may update this policy as the game changes. The effective date above identifies the current version. Material changes will be reflected in the app store listing.
